Store & Return Policies


Return of Good Product
Goods delivered to a customer in good condition may be returned to Garden Squirrel as follows:

1.       The customer must email a Good Product Return Request to  helpdesk@gardensquirrel.com  within 7 days of the goods being delivered to the customer .

2.       Specify invoice number, date goods were delivered to customer, and reason for return.

3.       Customer, at own cost, must return goods to arrive at Garden Squirrel in good condition within 2 weeks of the date that the goods were delivered to the customer.

4.       If the goods are received by Garden Squirrel as in clause 3 above, Garden Squirrel will arrange a refund to the credit card from which the original purchase payment was made, equal to the original invoiced price, less the value of the original freight to the customer and a 3% cancellation fee.

 

Return of Faulty Product

Goods which appear to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, and/or unfit for the purpose described in the product labels, may be returned as follows:,

1.       The customer must email a Faulty Product Return Request to helpdesk@gardensquirrel.com  within 7 days of the goods being delivered to the customer.

2.       Specify invoice number, date of delivery, description of fault with digital photos, and request either replacement of goods or refund of payment.

3.       If it appears from the above email that the goods are faulty, Garden Squirrel will email a Return Ticket to the Customer and arrange a pick up of the faulty goods.

4.       When the goods returned to Garden Squirrel are confirmed to be the goods originally dispatched and confirmed to be faulty, Garden Squirrel will arrange replacement of goods or a refund to the credit card from which the purchase payment was made, as requested by the customer.

 

Cancellation of Order before Dispatch of Product

Goods may be cancelled only as follows:

  1. A  Cancellation Request must be received by email at helpdesk@gardensquirrel.com in time for Garden Squirrel to approve the request and stop dispatch of the goods.
  2. Cancellation requests must specify invoice number and reason for cancellation.
  3. If a Cancellation Request is received and approved before the goods have been shipped from Garden Squirrel’s warehouse, the order may be refunded, less a 3% cancellation fee, into the credit card from which the purchase payment was made. 

Cancellation Requests received later than in clause 1 may be treated as Return of Good Product

Shipping Information

We currently ship by USPS, UPS ground service, and other carriers inside USA, so please allow the following business days to receive in-stock products into the areas within these USA Time Zones.

 

To areas in EST Zone:  7 – 10 days.                    To areas in MST Zone:  9 – 13 days.   

To areas in CST Zone:   8 – 11 days                   To areas in PST Zone:   13 – 17 days.

Additional time may be required for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada. 

 

If delivery is delayed the customer will be notified of the delay and given the option of a refund to their credit card.

 

Some large/heavy items may incur a freight surcharge but we will advise you in advance if extra freight charges will apply.

 

Express delivery is available.  Please email our freight department at helpdesk@gardensquirrel.com  Monday – Friday,  9 am – 5 pm,  EST,  for express shipping charges.

We do not ship to countries outside USA and Canada unless you make special arrangement with our freight department by email to:  helpdesk@gardensquirrel.com
