Reflective planting can be done easily and to great effect ..... 

Reflective planting is a really useful design idea - for impact group 2-5 planters in close proximity -more if space allows. This will really get your neighbors talking.

The photo above is of pansy's and chrysanthemums planted in Angel Moss in an English Styled Planter - pretty, isn't it ?!  What's more exciting is that these planters were planted only two days before this photo was taken - side-planting is the trick to getting fuller baskets faster.

ASK THE SQUIRREL .  .  . Question: I really struggle to keep my hanging baskets looking nice?

Answer - Its all about the watering.  Before selecting your plants - ask yourself 

Q Can you water every day ? - if yes - then you can grow almost anything.  Remember to water early in the morning or later in the evening as the sun can easily burn wet foliage and flowers.

Q Can you water every other day ? - if yes - then opt to grow something hardy and choose a more a shady spot (morning sun only) for your planter(s) - there are plenty of these see our shady plant list and recipes coming soon.

Q Can you only manage watering once or twice a week ? - if this is you - then opt again for a shady spot (morning sun only) for your planter(s) and go for drought tolerant plants - there are plenty of them. We will soon be adding a list of recommended drought tolerant plant and planting recipes.

Once you know what watering schedule you can realistically stick to then, and only then, start looking for the plants that will love you.
